Spacey Jane Sell Out Brisbane and Perth Shows Ahead of ‘Heading Back Down Under’ Tour

The Perth indie-rock favourites will hit the road with Telenova and Armlock this November and December, with tickets still available for additional Brisbane and Perth dates.

Spacey Jane are heading towards their biggest Australian tour yet, with shows in Brisbane and Perth already sold out ahead of the band’s Heading Back Down Under run this summer.

The Perth four-piece have sold out their Nov. 27 show at Brisbane’s Riverstage, although tickets remain available for the opening night at the venue on Nov. 26. Their first hometown show at ICF: OUTDOOR on Dec. 12 has also sold out, with tickets still available for a second and final Perth date on Dec. 13.

The national tour follows a busy international year for Spacey Jane, who recently completed an extensive North American run that included appearances at Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and Lollapalooza.

Their appearance at the latter proved memorable for reasons beyond the music: a major storm swept through Chicago’s Grant Park, cutting the band’s set short after just four songs.

Back in Australia, Spacey Jane will be joined nationally by Telenova and Armlock for the tour, which begins in Brisbane before moving to Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl for two nights on Dec. 4 and 5 and Adelaide’s The Drive on Dec. 6.

The band will then play two shows on the steps of the Sydney Opera House on Dec. 10 and 11, where additional tickets have recently been released, before finishing with the two-night hometown stand in Perth.

The tour comes in support of Spacey Jane’s recent Exit Wounds EP, featuring the single “I Never See Her.”

It continues a remarkable run for the band following their third album, If That Makes Sense. The record debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and earned ARIA nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Video, while Spacey Jane were triple j’s most-played artist of 2025. Five of the band’s songs also appeared in that year’s Hottest 100.

Frontman Caleb Harper recently made another return to Australian screens, appearing as a guest on ABC’s Spicks & Specks.
